Creamline’s continued dominance in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) has once again spotlighted its top executive, as Jonathan Ng is set to receive recognition for his role in guiding one of the league’s most successful franchises.

The Republic Biscuit Corporation Group Vice Chairman and CEO will be awarded Executive of the Year for the second consecutive season at the 2nd PVL Press Corps Awards Night on May 30 at Novotel Manila Araneta City in Cubao.

Ng earned the accolade after leading the selection process, which combined votes from team coaches, captains, and members of the volleyball media, finishing ahead of fellow nominees Jude Turcuato of PLDT and Frank Lao of ZUS Coffee.

His back-to-back recognition underscores Ng’s enduring influence in shaping Creamline into a perennial powerhouse since the professional era of the league began.

The past season, however, tested the team’s reputation. Creamline faced a rare dip in form, settling for bronze in both the PVL on Tour and Invitational Conferences and finishing sixth in the Reinforced Conference—ending its remarkable 19-conference semifinal streak.

Despite these setbacks, the organization maintained stability, sticking with its core leadership and trusting the process amid questions about the team’s performance.

That patience eventually bore fruit. Reinforced by veterans such as Jia De Guzman, Jema Galanza, Bernadeth Pons, and Dij Rodriguez, Creamline found its championship rhythm in the 2026 All-Filipino Conference, battling through tough knockout matches before sweeping Cignal in two games to claim its 11th league title.

Even as the league evolves with new challengers and changing rosters, Creamline’s resurgence highlighted the solid foundation established under Ng’s leadership—one that continues to secure the franchise’s place atop the PVL hierarchy.
