Bernadeth Pons made a triumphant return to indoor volleyball with a standout performance, guiding Creamline back to the top of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) after a dominant run in the All-Filipino Conference.

Fresh off a successful stint in beach volleyball, Pons capped her comeback with championship glory, earning Finals Most Valuable Player honors following Creamline’s series sweep of the Cignal Super Spikers.

Pons wasted no time making an impact in Game 1, contributing an all-around effort with 11 points, 15 digs, and five excellent receptions to stabilize the Cool Smashers’ floor defense. Creamline set the tone early, cruising to a 25-22, 25-18, 25-16 straight-sets victory.

In Game 2, Pons elevated her play in a tough five-set clash that tested Creamline’s championship resilience. She finished with a team-high 22 points, alongside 25 excellent digs and 15 excellent receptions, helping secure the title with a 25-23, 22-25, 25-16, 16-25, 15-11 win.

The 29-year-old outside hitter took a break from indoor volleyball from April to December 2025 to focus on beach volleyball, a decision that paid off with a gold medal at the Southeast Asian Games alongside teammates Sisi Rondina, Dij Rodriguez, and Sunny Villapando. Upon her return to indoor volleyball, she did so in peak form, leading Creamline to another championship.
