One more time: Creamline targets key win vs Farm Fresh

The Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference preliminaries continue with two matches at the Santa Rosa Sports Complex. At 4 p.m., Galeries Towervs.Akari, followed by a crucial 6:30 p.m. match between Farm Fresh vs.Creamline.

Creamline's path to the Qualifying Round was disrupted by a recent loss to Akari, dropping their record to 5-2 and intensifying the battle for the final two Top Four slots. While PLDT and Cignal have already qualified, Creamline, Nxled, Akari, and Farm Fresh are in a tight race for the remaining berths.

The standings are extremely close. Nxled is currently fourth at 4-4 with one game left, Akari is 4-3, and Farm Fresh remains in contention at 3-4 with two matches to play. Creamline has two games remaining, including a final match against Cignal after facing Farm Fresh.

A loss for Creamline in either of its final two games could lead to a complex tiebreaker scenario if other chasing teams finish with 5-4 records. Teams that finish outside the Top Four will enter a Play-In stage for a chance at the semifinals, adding pressure to secure a direct qualifying spot.

Despite two consecutive losses, Creamline aims to rebound against a resurgent Farm Fresh team. Farm Fresh kept its qualifying hopes alive with a recent five-set victory and is eager to pull off another upset to stay in the Top Four race.
