Thirdy Ravena rejoins B.League, inks deal with Toyama Grouses
Thirdy Ravena is making his return to the B.League after signing with the Toyama Grouses for the 2026-27 season.
Toyama officially announced the acquisition on Friday, bringing the Filipino standout back to Japan following a two-year stint with EuroLeague club Dubai BC.
"Hello boosters, I'm Thirdy Ravena, and I'm excited to come back to Japan and play my best for the Grouses this season," Ravena said in a message shared by the club.
The 6-foot-2 wing first made his mark in the B.League with the San-En NeoPhoenix, where he spent four seasons after completing his collegiate career at Ateneo de Manila University.
Ravena enjoyed his best campaign in Japan during the 2023-24 season, averaging 12.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.0 steal per game while emerging as one of San-En's top performers.
He later joined Dubai BC but played a limited role over the past two seasons as the club fielded a roster loaded with former NBA players in European competition.
Ravena now joins a Toyama side looking to rebound from a disappointing 2025-26 campaign. The Grouses finished 24th out of 26 teams with an 18-42 record and hope the Filipino veteran's all-around game and experience can help spark a turnaround.
