PVL: PLDT keeps composure as Savi Davison delivers triple-double vs Farm Fresh

The PLDT High Speed Hitters defeated the Farm Fresh Foxies in a five-set match (25-17, 23-25, 27-25, 21-25, 15-10) during the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference on March 5 at the FilOil Centre in San Juan. This victory improved PLDT's record to 5-1 in the standings.

Savi Davison was instrumental in the win, delivering a triple-double performance with 32 points, 12 excellent digs, and 13 excellent receptions. The match was marked by tense moments and officiating controversies, including a protested non-four-touch call against PLDT in the fourth set and a later challenge by Farm Fresh that resulted in a point and helped force a deciding fifth set.

Despite the interruptions and heated exchanges, Davison emphasized the team's focus on staying locked into the game. She stated that while the breaks made it challenging to maintain focus, disputed calls ultimately motivated the team to play better and channel their emotions productively into their performance during play, which helped them regain control and secure the win in the fifth set.
