The Bulacan Kuyas rallied to overcome the Negros Hacienderos, while the Ilagan Isabela Cowboys held off the Mindoro Tamaraws, 79-69, in the nightcap of the 2026 Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) Regular Season on Tuesday at One Arena in Cainta, Rizal.

Mindoro narrowed a 76-78 deficit late in the game, but Ilagan Isabela responded with an 11-point burst, led by Miguel Ona, to claim a wire-to-wire win and improve to 7-5.

Ona finished with 15 points and two rebounds, while Allen Mina added 15 points, four assists, and two rebounds. TJ Felebrico posted a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds, and Jayboy Solis contributed 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Mindoro fell to 5-6 despite strong performances from JJ Caspe and RJ Ramirez, who scored 22 and 14 points, respectively.

In the earlier matchup, Bulacan erased a 32-42 halftime deficit with key contributions from Jonathan Medina and Airohn Acop, eventually pulling away for a 59-43 second-half advantage to finish with a 4-7 record.

Jeremy Cruz led the Kuyas with 17 points, followed by Mart James Barrera with 12. Acop and Medina added 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Negros dropped to 1-9, led by Reymar Caduyac with 11 points, while Rey Ygot and Brandrey Bienes added 10 apiece.

The league will return to the Caloocan Sports Complex on Wednesday for a marquee matchup featuring unbeaten Caloocan (11-0) against San Juan (8-1) at 8 p.m.

Caloocan relies on Kymani Ladi, Kean Baclaan, Eric Camson, Dom Escobar, and Jeff Manday, while San Juan is anchored by Michael Phillips, Harold Alarcon, AC Soberano, Gerry Abadiano, James Kwekuteye, and Orlan Wamar.
