Tantoy Ferrer put on a spectacular performance to lead RK Hoops-Quezon City 10ACT to a 68–60 win over Caloocan in the 2026 Women’s Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (WMPBL) regular season on Wednesday at the Batangas City Sports Coliseum.

After helping Gilas Pilipinas 3x3 secure a spot in the FIBA 3x3 World Cup, Ferrer made an immediate impact in her debut with RK Hoops-Quezon City 10ACT. She exploded for 24 points and 22 rebounds, helping her team snap a 10-game losing streak that stretched back to last season.

Ferrer, who missed the team's 46–66 season-opening loss to Biñan-Tatak Gel, also contributed six steals and three blocks in nearly 37 minutes of play.

"I'm really proud of how the girls played, and Tantoy Ferrer made a huge difference in this game. She brought the winning mentality to the team," said RK Hoops-QC 10ACT head coach Jon Cobarrubias.

RK Hoops-QC 10ACT trailed by as many as eight points early in the second quarter but managed to take a 39–34 lead at halftime. They continued to dominate in the second half, holding off the Lady Kankaloo to secure their first victory of the tournament, which is supported by Aktive.

Hazel Panti contributed 10 points, five rebounds, and four assists, while Mikee Antonio added eight points, helping RK Hoops-QC 10ACT improve to a 1–1 record in the six-team tournament.

On the other hand, Caloocan, coming off an 85–53 defeat to defending champion Batangas-New Zealand Bluefire, suffered its second consecutive loss to start the tournament.

Rejoice Adlawan led the Lady Kankaloo with 10 points, six rebounds, and three assists, while Janine Pontejos, Dianne Pedregosa, and Joan Camagong each scored eight points in the losing effort.
