Bade Triple-Double Powers Queenpin to Big Win, Ends Losing Streak

Gabi Bade recorded a triple-double to lead Pasig to a 99-66 rout of an undermanned Caloocan squad, snapping a four-game losing streak in the 2026 Women’s Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League on Wednesday at the Victoria Sports Center.

The Queenpin capitalized on the absence of Caloocan’s Janine Pontejos, Rejoice Adlawan, Kris Tolentino, and head coach Brian Lacap, leaning on Bade and Lee Sario to dominate the contest.

Bade finished with 13 points on 5-of-11 shooting, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and three steals, marking the league’s sixth triple-double. Sario contributed 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting, along with four assists, three steals, and two rebounds. With the victory, Pasig improved to 2-5, tying RK Hoops–Quezon City ACT10, who fell 72-89 to Akari-Rizal earlier in the day.

“Nag-enjoy kami sobra. Whole game, from first buzzer up to the last, kaya siguro nakuha namin yung panalo na ito,” said Pasig head coach Kyle Umengan.

After a slow 6-17 start in the first quarter, the Queenpin found their rhythm in the second period, turning a narrow 26-23 lead into a commanding 49-31 advantage by halftime, capped by an and-one layup from FEU’s Yvette Villanueva.

Pasig extended their lead in the second half, fueled by a Villanueva three-pointer, a Cris Padilla layup, and back-to-back inside scores from Mimi Mendaros, pushing Caloocan into a 28-point deficit, 76-48, entering the fourth quarter.

Villanueva finished with 15 points, six rebounds, and two blocks, while Charm Natural added 12 points and four boards. LJ Miranda narrowly missed a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds, plus two assists and one steal.

The victory also avenged Pasig’s narrow 71-77 loss to Caloocan in their first-round meeting on May 13.

Caloocan, now 1-5, remains at the bottom of the six-team field. Joan Camagong led the Lady Kankaloo with 12 points, six rebounds, two assists, and two steals, while Sofia Felisarta and Dianne Pedregosa added 11 and 10 points, respectively.
