Biñan-Tatak Gel continued their dominant run in the 2026 Women’s Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (WMPBL) regular season, steamrolling Caloocan 102-67 on Wednesday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre.

After a close first half that saw them lead just 35-32, the Angels exploded in the second half with a much tighter defense and relentless offense. They pulled away decisively in the fourth quarter, exploding for 41 points to complete a commanding 35-point victory and improve to a perfect 4-0 record.

“Slow start, pero at least nakarecover kami sa second half,” said Biñan-Tatak Gel head coach Jack Azcueta. “Most of our games are like this. We only had one or two good starts so far, but the important thing is we’re able to recover.”

Monique Del Carmen led the Angels with 17 points, three assists, three steals, and two rebounds. Eka Soriano contributed 13 points, seven assists, and five rebounds, while Claudine Santos added 11 points. Ara Abaca and Meiko Yamada also pitched in with nine points each.

Biñan-Tatak Gel’s defense was stellar, limiting the Lady Kankaloo to just 26-of-65 shooting (40%) from the field.

Caloocan fell to 0-4 after their fourth straight loss. Pontejos led the Lady Kankaloo with 12 points and six rebounds, while Joan Camagong added 10 points and five rebounds.
