Alas Pilipinas Women has finalized its 14-player roster for the opening leg of the 2026 Southeast Asian Volleyball Cup (SEA V Cup), trimming its traveling party from 16 ahead of the tournament in Vietnam.

Outside hitter Celine Marsh and libero Jennifer Nierva were the final cuts as the national team prepares to begin its campaign under newly appointed head coach Taka Minowa.

Minowa will make his debut on the Alas Pilipinas bench with veteran setters Jia De Guzman of Creamline and Mars Alba of Akari tasked with directing the offense.

The Philippines will lean on Bella Belen and Vanie Gandler of Capital1, Choco Mucho's Eya Laure, and National University's Vange Alinsug to lead the attack from the outside.

Capital1's Erika Santos is set to make her national team debut and will split duties at opposite hitter with Alyssa Solomon.

At the middle blocker position, Niña Ytang headlines the rotation as the lone holdover from the Alas Pilipinas squad that competed in the AVC Women's Cup. She will be joined by Thea Gagate of ZUS Coffee, Dell Palomata of PLDT, and Akari's Fifi Sharma.

Dawn Catindig of Choco Mucho and Akari's Justine Jazareno complete the lineup as the team's liberos.

Alas Pilipinas opens its SEA V Cup campaign on Friday against host Vietnam before facing regional powerhouse Thailand on Saturday. The Filipinas will conclude the first leg against Indonesia on Sunday.
