Three Bundesliga sides rank in the top 20 for the Deloitte Money League 2026
Deloitte's 2026 Money League rankings feature three Bundesliga clubs in the top 20: Bayern Munich (3rd), Borussia Dortmund (12th), and VfB Stuttgart. Eintracht Frankfurt is positioned just outside in 21st place.
Bayern Munich, the current Bundesliga leaders, generated €861 million in revenue for the 2024/25 season, a 12% increase from the previous year. This growth, which moved them up two places in the ranking, was primarily driven by their participation in the Club World Cup. The club's revenue is largely composed of commercial deals valued at €461 million, with broadcast revenue contributing €252 million.
Borussia Dortmund, another Club World Cup participant, saw their broadcast revenue increase from €206 million to €227 million. However, their overall revenue for 2024/25 only rose by 3% to €531 million, as a decline in commercial revenue from €215 million to €209 million offset the broadcast gains.
VfB Stuttgart makes a surprise return to the Money League top 20 for the first time since the 2009/10 season, following a remarkable 79% surge in revenue to €296 million. This jump is attributed to a significant boost in broadcast revenue (from €51m to €121m) from Champions League participation and increased matchday revenue (€37m to €70m) after stadium renovations. This performance places Stuttgart ahead of established Premier League clubs like West Ham, Brighton, and Everton.
Eintracht Frankfurt is the only other Bundesliga club in the top 30, ranking 21st with a revenue of €269.9 million.
