Gregoritsch Returns to Bundesliga on Loan Rejoining Augsburg

Austrian striker Michael Gregoritsch has returned to the Bundesliga, joining his former club FC Augsburg on loan from Danish side Brøndby IF, with a permanent transfer option included in the deal. The move comes just six months after he departed SC Freiburg for Brøndby.

Gregoritsch, who represented Augsburg from 2017 to 2022, expressed his excitement over the return, noting that he was eager to rejoin the club immediately. He is looking forward to reuniting with his former teammates and is determined to help the team climb up the league standings.

The 31-year-old Austrian international saw limited game time at Brøndby this season, starting only four of 14 matches—a key factor behind his decision to head back to Germany.
