Davie Selke open to Bundesliga return
Davie Selke, who played a key role in Hamburger SV's promotion to the Bundesliga last season with 22 goals in the 2. Bundesliga, has left the club upon the expiration of his contract.
The 30-year-old striker has joined Turkish club Başakşehir as a free agent but remains open to a future return to the German top flight, citing previous discussions and potential future opportunities.
Selke expressed pride in his career at several major German clubs, including Werder Bremen, Köln, HSV, Hertha Berlin, and RB Leipzig, and emphasized that his career is ongoing.
Since joining Başakşehir, Selke has scored four goals in 11 appearances for the team.
