Arsenal, Liverpool tracking rising Germany star as double Bundesliga raid beckons
Eintracht Frankfurt are facing a significant challenge this summer as two of their standout full-backs, Nathaniel Brown and Nnamdi Collins, are attracting strong interest from Premier League clubs.
Nnamdi Collins, a 22-year-old dynamic right-back who can also play centrally, has emerged as a prime target. After joining Frankfurt from Borussia Dortmund's academy in 2023, he has established himself as a promising Bundesliga defender and earned his first Germany cap in August. His physicality, recovery pace, and versatility have made him attractive to several English clubs.
Arsenal, who are also monitoring Nathaniel Brown, are impressed by Collins and see similarities between him and their defender Ben White, especially as they consider long-term options on the right side of defence. However, they face competition, with Liverpool, Manchester City, Newcastle United, Brighton & Hove Albion, and Brentford all having scouted Collins in recent months.
Frankfurt are in a strong negotiating position, as Collins is under contract until 2030, meaning any transfer would require a substantial offer. The situation indicates that Frankfurt could be heading into a pivotal summer that may reshape both of their full-back positions.
