AC Juvenes 4-0 Faetano: Juvenes romp to comfortable Campionato Sammarinese success

AC Juvenes put on an emphatic display at home, cruising to a 4-0 victory over Faetano in the San Marino Campionato di Calcio. The result highlighted Juvenes' attacking quality and gave them a much-needed three points as they look to climb the league table in the famously competitive Sammarinese top flight.

Match overview

Playing at their home ground in Serravalle, Juvenes took control from the outset and never looked back. A composed opening goal set the tone, and a clinical second before half-time gave the hosts a comfortable cushion. Faetano were unable to string together meaningful attacks, with Juvenes' midfield pressing aggressively and cutting off passing lanes throughout the match.

The second half saw more of the same. Juvenes added two further goals to put the result beyond all doubt, while Faetano rarely threatened the home goal. The clean sheet was a welcome bonus for the Juvenes coaching staff, who had identified defensive solidity as a key area for improvement after recent inconsistent results.

Key moments

• Early leader: Juvenes broke through in the first ten minutes with a well-placed finish from a tight angle.
• Second before the break: A penalty was converted confidently to double the lead and deflate the visitors.
• Third strike: A beautifully worked set piece saw the centre-back rise unmarked to head home.
• Late fourth: A substitute added a fourth in injury time to complete a satisfying evening.

Tactical story

Juvenes set up in an attacking 4-2-3-1 formation, with their full-backs given license to bomb forward and support the wide attackers. This created frequent overloads on the flanks, forcing Faetano to tuck in and leave space in behind. Faetano's back line struggled to deal with the constant movement and were repeatedly caught out by diagonal runs from midfield.

Standout players

Juvenes' number ten was the standout performer, scoring once and providing two assists in a masterful display of creativity. The striker, who led the line throughout, also impressed with a goal and a constant work rate that kept the Faetano defence on edge. For Faetano, the goalkeeper made several saves to limit the damage, but he could do little to prevent the flood.

Table and season impact

This commanding victory provides Juvenes with a valuable boost in the Campionato di Calcio standings, giving them momentum ahead of a critical run of fixtures. Faetano, meanwhile, leave empty-handed and will need to rediscover their defensive organisation quickly if they are to move away from the bottom half of the table.

With several rounds remaining, every point is crucial in the San Marino league. Juvenes will hope this result signals the start of a stronger second half to their campaign, while Faetano must regroup and learn from the lessons of a chastening evening.
