The TNT Tropang 5G decisively defeated the San Miguel Beermen 110-87 in Game 4 of the PBA Philippine Cup finals, tying the series at 2-2. This victory served as a strong rebound from a heartbreaking Game 3 loss where TNT squandered a late lead.

Calvin Oftana led TNT with a conference-high 29 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 steals. The team established a dominant 35-18 lead in the first quarter, thanks in part to Jordan Heading's 11 early points, and extended their advantage to as many as 35 points.

Head coach Chot Reyes emphasized moving past the previous defeat, stating the players responded well. He acknowledged that despite great defense in Game 3, San Miguel's CJ Perez made exceptional plays to secure the win for the Beermen.

The win came despite the second-quarter exit of TNT captain Roger Pogoy, who re-aggravated a hamstring injury. Reyes noted that Pogoy was playing through significant pain and likely should not have been on the court.
