TNT fends off San Miguel to draw first blood in PBA Finals
TNT secured a victory in Game 1 of the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup Finals, defeating the defending champion San Miguel Beermen with a final score of 96-91 at the Ynares Center in Antipolo on Wednesday, January 21.
The team established a strong early lead, going up by 19 points (46-27) in the first half. Despite a second-half surge from San Miguel, TNT managed to maintain its advantage and close out the game.
The win gives TNT a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven championship series. Game 2 is scheduled for Friday, January 23, at the same venue.
