Ahead of the new season of the Philippine Volleyball League (PVL), Strong Group Athletics (SGA) announced a blockbuster signing, with veteran outside hitter Royse Tubino, championship setter Chie Saet and former Choco Mucho player Bia General officially joining the club. The 32-year-old Tubino, who previously played for two powerhouse teams including PLDT and Choco Mucho, will join SGA as the third PVL club in her career. The 41-year-old Saet has been the core setter of Petro Gazz since 2018, helping the team win the 2025 Reinforced Conference title, and this transfer marks the first time she has changed clubs in her professional career. Notably, SGA, which owns two teams including Farm Fresh and ZUS Coffee, has not yet announced the specific team affiliation of the three new signings. In addition, league powerhouse Creamline Cool Smashers also adjusted their roster, terminating the contract with Michelle Morente who had a short stint with the team. The latter has played for many teams including PLDT, Petro Gazz and F2 Logistics in her career.
