PVL Transfer: Paat, Gaston Join SGA, Capital1
Two more former players from the now-defunct Chery Tiggo team have secured new clubs ahead of the upcoming PVL season.
Veteran opposite spiker Mylene Paat has joined Strong Group Athletics, while middle blocker Pauline Gaston has signed with Capital1.
For Paat, this move presents a potential opportunity to play for either the ZUS Coffee or Farm Fresh teams under the Strong Group Athletics banner.
Capital1 has been active in the offseason, also signing former Chery Tiggo players Jasmine Nabor and Shaya Adorador alongside Pauline Gaston.
Mylene Paat was a key member of the Chery Tiggo squad that won the 2021 Open Conference championship, defeating Creamline in five sets to claim the first professional title.
Pauline Gaston had been with Chery Tiggo since 2023, remaining with the team until its dissolution in December.
