PVL: Creamline repulses late Galeries rally to nab fourth straight win

Creamline defeated Galeries Tower in four sets (25-14, 17-25, 25-18, 25-23) in the 2026 PVL Open Conference. Despite a late comeback attempt by Galeries Tower in the fourth set, Creamline secured the victory to extend their winning streak to four games and improve their record to 4-1.

In the decisive fourth set, Creamline built a 20-14 lead and reached match point at 24-19. Galeries Tower, sparked by Julia Coronel's two aces, mounted a 4-0 run to close the gap to 24-23. Creamline ultimately sealed the match with a quick kill by Jeanette Panaga off a set from Jia De Guzman.

Tots Carlos led Creamline with 19 points and 13 digs. Bernadeth Pons added 15 points, while Jema Galanza contributed 12 points and 11 receptions. For Galeries Tower, Jean Asis and Erika Deloria scored 12 and 11 points respectively, and Julia Coronel had 6 points and 16 excellent sets. The loss dropped Galeries Tower to a 2-4 record.

In the earlier match, Choco Mucho defeated Nxled in four sets (27-25, 28-26, 16-25, 25-19). Sisi Rondina led Choco Mucho with 24 points, and Eya Laure added 13 points off the bench, helping the Flying Titans improve to 3-3. For Nxled, Brooke Van Sickle scored 20 points and MJ Phillips added 13, as the team suffered their third consecutive loss, also falling to 3-3.
