PVL: Choco Mucho, Nxled battle for momentum; Creamline battles Galeries Tower
The 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference features two matches on Tuesday at the FilOil Centre in San Juan, with teams in the middle of the standings aiming to stabilize their campaigns.
The opening match at 4:00 p.m. pits the Choco Mucho Flying Titans against the Nxled Chameleons. Choco Mucho, holding a 2-3 record, recently ended a three-game losing streak by displaying a more balanced offense from players like Eya Laure, Sisi Rondina, and Des Cheng. Nxled, which started the season 3-0, has since lost three of its last four matches, struggling with late-set execution despite the potent frontcourt of Brooke Van Sickle, MJ Phillips, and Myla Pablo.
The second match at 6:30 p.m. sees the Creamline Cool Smashers facing the Galeries Tower Highrisers. Creamline, on a three-game winning streak with a 3-1 record, relies on consistent production from Jema Galanza, Tots Carlos, and Bernadeth Pons. Galeries Tower, with a 2-3 record, has shown competitiveness but struggles with inconsistency, led by scorers Erika Deloria and Jean Asis, who will need a complete team performance to challenge.
With the standings remaining tight, these matches provide crucial opportunities for the teams to strengthen their positions as the conference progresses.
