PVL: Brooke Van Sickle headlines star-studded Nxled offseason haul
Brooke Van Sickle has officially joined the Nxled Chameleons volleyball team. This move follows her former team, the Petro Gazz Angels, announcing a leave of absence from the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), which made its players free agents.
Van Sickle was a key player for Petro Gazz, instrumental in their championship wins in the All-Filipino and Reinforced Conferences last year. During her tenure with the Angels, she earned three Conference MVP awards, establishing herself as a dominant and consistent two-way player known for her power and athleticism.
Her acquisition is a major boost for the Nxled Chameleons, adding elite scoring, leadership, and championship experience to their roster. She will reunite with several former Petro Gazz teammates on the Chameleons and play under Italian head coach Ettore Guidetti.
With Van Sickle now leading the team, Nxled takes a significant step forward as they prepare for the upcoming All-Filipino Conference.
