On January 26th, Detroit Pistons head coach JB Bickerstaff spoke in an interview about set to serve as an NBA All-Star Game coach for the first time in his career.

Bickerstaff said, "This is special, and it's special for a lot of different reasons behind it. You have to understand why you're here and how much the people around you have helped you achieve success and reach the top."

Bickerstaff has led the Pistons to a 33-11 record so far this season, with a winning percentage ranking second in the league only to the Oklahoma City Thunder. He has also become the first Pistons head coach to be named an All-Star coach since Flip Saunders in the 2005-06 season.
