TNT Wins Game 4 Behind Erram’s 27-Point Performance
Poy Erram, a key player for TNT in the PBA Philippine Cup semifinals, had seen limited playing time in the first three games, averaging only eight minutes per game. However, in Game 4 on January 11, he was given extended minutes and delivered a standout performance, scoring 27 points to lead TNT to a decisive 102-83 victory over Meralco.
Erram set the tone early in the game, scoring 21 of his points in the first half before his teammates helped secure the win. In addition to his scoring, he contributed nine rebounds, two assists, and three blocks, showcasing his all-around impact on the court.
After the game, Erram expressed his focus on helping the team in any way possible, acknowledging his teammates' support and his own aggressive play. He also thanked TNT's coaching staff, particularly coach Chot Reyes, for trusting him with increased playing time.
While Erram led the charge, players like Jordan Heading, Kim Aurin, and Henry Galinato contributed significantly in the fourth quarter, combining for 23 points to ensure TNT maintained its dominance until the final buzzer.
