Mikey Williams, who has not played in the PBA for nearly three years since leading TNT to the 2023 PBA Governors' Cup title, has officially joined Converge. He made the announcement via an Instagram story on March 3, posting a photo of himself in a Converge jersey with teammates and head coach Delta Pineda, accompanied by the caption, "It's all God. And just like that it begins."

Williams, a former two-time champion and two-time Finals MVP with TNT, will bolster a young Converge core that includes players like Juan Gomez de Liaño, Justine Baltazar, Justin Arana, and Alec Stockton. Converge has further strengthened its roster by acquiring veteran Calvin Abueva and promising forward Jonnel Policarpio through trades.

The move comes after prolonged and stalled negotiations between Williams and TNT. In June 2025, TNT ultimately traded Williams' signing rights to Converge in exchange for guard Jordan Heading, finalizing his departure from the Tropang 5G.
