Rain or Shine's Adrian Nocum, TNT's Glenn Khobuntin, and PGJC Navy's Peter Quiel, along with other athletes like RK Ilagan of Blackwater Bossing and ex-PBA player Jervy Cruz, participated in the annual Feast of the Black Nazarene in Quiapo on January 9. The event, a significant religious procession, lasted nearly 31 hours, marking the longest in its history and attracted devotees from various backgrounds.

Nocum shared a photo with Ilagan on social media, expressing gratitude with the caption "Walang hanggang pasasalamat." Both players are coming off challenging PBA seasons, with Ilagan's team missing the playoffs and Nocum's team being eliminated in the semifinals. Khobuntin and teammate Almond Vosotros also posted about their participation, sharing moments with family.

Meanwhile, Khobuntin's team, TNT Tropang 5G, is engaged in a PBA Philippine Cup semifinal series against Meralco. Despite a recent loss in Game 3, TNT still leads the series 2-1 and aims to secure a 3-1 advantage in the next game scheduled for January 11.
