New-look Chameleons optimistic in PVL
NXLED is aiming to make an impact in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference, bolstered by a strong roster featuring experienced players Brooke Van Sickle and MJ Philips. Their opening match against the Farm Fresh Foxies at the FilOil EcoOil Centre presents a significant early challenge.
The NXLED Chameleons' lineup includes key players like Myla Pablo, Jonah Sabete, and liberos Bang Pineda and Jellie Tempiatura. The team has been further strengthened by the additions of former Petro Gazz players Djanel Cheng and Julyana Tolentino, as well as veterans Aby Maraño, Joyme Cagande, and ex-Choco Mucho middle-blocker Aduke Ogunsanya.
Brooke Van Sickle expressed enthusiasm about joining the team, praising the welcoming and gritty nature of the younger NXLED squad and noting their hunger for victory.
Their opponents, Farm Fresh, have also reinforced their team with new recruits including Royse Tubino, Bia Genera, Mylene Paat, and Remy Palma. They will rely on playmaker Alohi Robins-Hardy and offensive players Riri Meneses and Ces Molina, guided by the lessons of Italian coach Alessandro Lodi.
In a later match scheduled for 6:30 p.m., ZUS Coffee will face off against Capital1.
