Chicago Bulls receive Dario Šarić and a pair of 2nd-round picks in 3-team deal
The Chicago Bulls facilitated a three-team trade with the Sacramento Kings and Cleveland Cavaliers ahead of the trade deadline. As part of the deal, the Bulls received forward Dario Šarić and two second-round draft picks.
The primary transaction involved the Cleveland Cavaliers sending De’Andre Hunter to the Sacramento Kings in exchange for Dennis Schroder and Keon Ellis. To complete their involvement, the Bulls sent forward Emanuel Miller to the Cavaliers.
To create a roster spot for the incoming Šarić, the Bulls waived guard Jevon Carter. This move was necessary because Miller, whom they traded, was on a two-way contract.
Šarić, who played only five games for the Kings this season, is in the final year of a two-year, $10.6 million contract. His expiring salary contributes to the Bulls' goal of creating financial flexibility for the 2026 free-agency period.
Emanuel Miller appeared in just 11 games over two seasons with the Bulls, averaging 2.3 points. Jevon Carter, a local player from Maywood who attended Proviso East High School, served as a deep rotation player for the Bulls, averaging 12 minutes per game across three seasons with the team.
