NBA Fans React To Devastating James Harden News Before Cavs-Bucks Game
James Harden was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers earlier this month. Since the trade, the Cavaliers have performed exceptionally well, posting a 6-1 record and looking like one of the top five teams in the NBA.
Harden has integrated seamlessly, averaging 18.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 8.0 assists per game while shooting 49.4% from the field and 48.8% from three-point range during this period. In a recent 109-94 victory over the New York Knicks, Harden contributed 20 points, two rebounds, and four assists, shooting 8/18 from the field and 4/7 from three-point range in 32 minutes of play.
However, ESPN's Shams Charania reported that Harden sustained a fracture in his right thumb during the win over the Knicks. He is undergoing further evaluations and treatment and has been officially ruled out for the Cavaliers' next game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Despite the injury, Charania provided an update indicating that after evaluation by a hand specialist, Harden plans to play through the fractured thumb, suggesting a potential swift return to the court.
