Keshad Johnson Wins 2026 Slam Dunk Contest Over Carter Bryant
At the 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend Slam Dunk Contest, Miami Heat forward Keshad Johnson defeated San Antonio Spurs forward Carter Bryant to win the title.
In his post-event interview, Bryant spoke about his final dunk attempt:
“If I had made that dunk, I would’ve won. That’s probably the dunk I’ve made the most times out of any dunk I’ve ever done in my life. I’ve been doing that dunk since I was 14. I just didn’t catch the ball.”
On the loss, Bryant stated:“Losing is the worst thing on the planet. It’s the worst feeling. It runs deep. It stings. It hurts. So, I mean, it is what it is, but it’s not a feeling that’s gonna be forgotten.”
