Hernandez Joins Strong Group Athletics for 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference
Middle blocker Imee Hernandez inked a deal with Strong Group Athletics after her former side Chery Tiggo Crossovers disbanded, becoming one of eight offseason recruits gearing up for the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
She links up with new teammates Remy Palma, Chie Saet, Bia General, Royse Tubino, Renee Penafiel, Karen Verdeflor and Cess Robles, though her exact team—Farm Fresh Foxies or ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles—remains unconfirmed.
Injury curbed Hernandez’s game time at Chery Tiggo, but the versatile net player proved her worth when fit. She returned for the PVL on Tour and Invitational but sat out most of the Reinforced Conference to continue rehabilitation, and is set to be fully fit for the upcoming All-Filipino Conference tip-off later this month.
