Magnolia Hotshots will look to build on their recent momentum when they face the Terrafirma Dyip on Tuesday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in the PBA Season 50 Commissioner’s Cup.

Tip-off is set for 5:15 p.m. The Hotshots are chasing their second straight victory, while the Dyip hope to pull away from Meralco in the standings. Both teams currently sit tied for third place with identical 3-1 records.

Terrafirma has been one of the surprises of the tournament so far. Under Coach Ronald Tubid, the Dyip have defied expectations by winning three of their first four games and currently sit among the top teams, just behind Rain or Shine and NLEX.

However, according to Casino Plus sportsbook, **Magnolia** is a heavy favorite at **-7.5**, with the over/under set at **206.0 total points**.

Momentum favors the Hotshots after they snapped a three-game skid with a strong win over Macau on March 28. New import Clint Chapman made an immediate impact, exploding for 39 points and 15 rebounds in his PBA debut.

“Hindi namin makuha 'yung tamang timpla namin. Ironically, that's our name, Chicken Timplados, pero hindi namin makuha 'yung tamang timpla,” said Magnolia coach LA Tenorio. “But thank God we got this win, with a big boost from Clint.”

In the 7:30 p.m. main event, Meralco Bolts will take on TNT Tropang 5G in another intra-MVP Group matchup.

The defending champions TNT enter with confidence, riding a two-game winning streak after victories over NLEX and San Miguel Beer. Leading their charge is import Bol Bol, who is dominating with averages of **37.3 points**, **16.3 rebounds**, and **2.6 blocks** per game.

Casino Plus has TNT as **-4.0 favorites**, with the over/under set at **206.5 total points**.

Meralco, however, is also in rhythm after bouncing back with a 118-105 win over Converge on March 29. Import Marvin Jones led the way with 24 points and 14 rebounds, while veteran Kelly Williams continues to pose a threat from beyond the arc.

The Bolts will need a strong defensive plan to contain the towering Bol Bol and limit his impact inside.
