In preparation for the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) season, powerhouse Creamline Cool Smashers announced the release of setter Mafe Galanza, marking another key move in the team's ongoing roster adjustments following the exits of veteran players including Pau Soriano and Riza Mandapat. Joining the team in 2023, Galanza served as a dependable backup to starting setter Kyle Negrito and played a pivotal role in Creamline's 2024 Grand Slam triumph, with her on-court synergy with opposite spiker Michele Gumabao proving particularly effective.
