San Miguel Beermen guard Chris Ross is battling multiple leg injuries ahead of a crucial playoff game. He entered Game 3 of the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup Finals on January 25 already dealing with a tight right Achilles tendon.

During San Miguel's 95-89 victory over TNT in that game, Ross suffered a further setback by spraining his left ankle. After the match, he confirmed the dual issues, stating, "Yeah, I twisted my ankle, and my Achilles is really, really tight. So, I got both of my legs that need to get better," while also humorously attributing some challenges to being 40 years old.

Ross's on-court impact in Game 3 was limited due to the injuries; he played just over 15 minutes, recording no points but contributing two rebounds, two assists, and a steal.

Looking ahead, Ross expressed optimism about his recovery for Game 4 on January 28, citing the two-day break between games. He said, "It is what it is. I've got two days to get healthier. I'm a quick healer, so, hopefully, I'll be fine," and confidently stated his intention to play and help his team pursue the championship.
