Choco Mucho downs ZUS to advance to PVL Play-In semis
The Choco Mucho Flying Titans defeated the
ZUSCoffee Thunderbelles in a five-set match to stay in contention in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference. The final scores were 21-25, 25-22, 13-25, 25-11, 15-11.
SisiRondina was the top scorer for Choco Mucho with 27 points, including a crucial six points in the decisive fifth set. Maddie Madayag contributed 19 points with a highly efficient 64% attack rate, which was instrumental in the team's victory.
With this win, ChocoMucho eliminated ZUS Coffee from the competition. The team must now defeat the Akari Chargers in their upcoming match on Saturday to advance to the next round of the conference.
