Bella Belen scored a career-high 28 points for the Capital1 Solar Spikers, but her individual performance was not enough to secure a victory as her team fell to the PLDT High Speed Hitters in a four-set match in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference. This marked the second time in just three conference games that Belen has set a new personal scoring record, following a 26-point outing in their season opener.

Despite the loss, Belen highlighted the positive growth shown by her team against a veteran PLDT squad. She noted that the team fought hard and showed glimpses of their potential, while acknowledging the experience gap with their opponents. Belen also emphasized her focus on maintaining a positive demeanor and fighting spirit on court to influence her teammates, believing the game is not over until the final set is won.

Reflecting on the result, Belen stressed that individual scoring achievements are secondary to team success in volleyball. She pointed out that despite high point totals, the team's current 1-2 record indicates there is still work to be done to translate individual efforts into wins. Capital1, now tied for 7th place, will look to apply these lessons in their next match against the Choco Mucho Flying Titans.
