Aiza Maizo-Pontillas headlines Galeries Tower's PVL offseason haul
Aiza Maizo-Pontillas, a former star for the Petro Gazz Angels, has signed with the Galeries Tower Highrisers for the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference. This move comes as the Angels are on a leave of absence.
Maizo-Pontillas is a three-time PVL champion with Petro Gazz. Her professional career began with the Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors in 2021 before she moved to Petro Gazz in 2022, making the Highrisers her third team.
At 37 years old, she is expected to bring offensive capability and valuable championship experience to the young Highrisers squad, which is in a rebuilding phase.
The Highrisers' offseason signings also include Shola Alvarez, Shar Ancheta, Erika Deloria, Cams Victoria, and Dolly Versoza. The team had previously announced the additions of Erika Raagas, Julia Angeles, and Blove Barbon.
