Union Royale Namur produced an impressive all-round display to beat Charleroi B 3–1 in the Belgian First Amateur Division on May 10, 2026. The home side controlled proceedings from start to finish, earning a well-deserved three points.
Namur opened the scoring in the 15th minute when their winger cut inside and fired a low shot into the far corner. They dominated possession and doubled their lead in the 33rd minute through a clinical finish from a tight angle. Charleroi B struggled to create meaningful chances and went into halftime trailing by two.
Early in the second half, Namur extended their lead to 3–0 with a well-placed header from a free-kick, effectively ending the contest as a spectacle. Charleroi B did manage a consolation goal in the 71st minute, a scrappy effort following a corner, but it was too little, too late.
The win strengthened Union Royale Namur's push for a higher position in the league standings, while Charleroi B were left to reflect on a disappointing performance. Namur's fluid attacking play and solid defensive organisation were the key factors in this comprehensive victory.
