Match Info
Thai League 1: Lamphun Warriors 1-1 PT Prachuap FC Lamphun Warriors and PT Prachuap FC shared the points in a 1-1 draw at the Lamphun Provincial Stadium, a result that does little to ease either side's concerns near the bottom of the Thai League 1 table. A late equalizer from the visitors snatched a draw, denying the Warriors what would have been a vital home victory. The Warriors started brightly and were rewarded with the opening goal in the 25th minute. A quick interchange on the left flank created space for a low cross, which was turned in at the near post by their bustling forward. Lamphun controlled much of the first half but failed to extend their lead, with Prachuap's goalkeeper making a crucial one-on-one save just before halftime. The second half saw a shift in momentum as Prachuap, spurred by their manager's changes, began to dominate possession. Their pressure finally told in the 82nd minute. A hopeful ball into the box was not dealt with, and it fell kindly for a Prachuap substitute who smashed it home from six yards out. The final minutes were frantic, but neither side could find a winner, with Lamphun's goalkeeper making a spectacular injury-time stop to preserve the point. The draw leaves both teams entrenched in the lower half of the table, with the fight against relegation heating up. The Lamphun manager expressed disappointment at "not seeing the game out from a winning position," while the Prachuap boss was pleased with his team's "spirit and reaction in the second half to get something from the game." Lamphun Warriors Starting XI: Srisuk; Pomsawan, Tanaboon, Hamilton, Thita; Sarachat, Lee; Amorntep, Tinnakorn, Bill; Willen. PT Prachuap FC Starting XI: Kampol; Peerapat, Elias, Hamilton, Chalermpong; Willian, Yodsak; Saharat, Barros, Chayapol; Jonatan.
