The United States Women's U18 National Team is a youth selection side that identifies and develops the next generation of stars for the world-leading US Women's National Team program. Operated by U.S. Soccer, the team participates in domestic training camps and occasional international tournaments, serving as a critical identification pool for the U20 and senior teams. The squad draws from the elite youth club and academy system across the United States, as well as from collegiate soccer programs. Players wear the classic red, white, and blue kit of the United States. The team's primary focus is on player development and tactical education within the national team philosophy, preparing athletes for the intense competition they will face at higher levels. Many of the most famous USWNT players, from Mia Hamm to Megan Rapinoe, have come through these youth national team ranks. The current U18 pool is filled with highly touted prospects who dream of one day winning a World Cup, and their camps are fiercely competitive as they vie for future call-ups.
