Club Deportivo Universidad de Concepción, often shortened to Universidad de Concepción or "la U de Concepción," is a Chilean football club currently playing in the Liga de Ascenso. Based in the city of Concepción, the team plays its home games at the Estadio Ester Roa Rebolledo. Founded in 1994, the club was established as the professional football arm of the University of Concepción and quickly rose through the divisions.
