Team Info
Tuna Luso is a historic Brazilian football club from Belém, the capital of the state of Pará, competing in the Campeonato Paraense, the top state league of Pará. Founded in 1903 by Portuguese immigrants, Tuna Luso is one of the oldest clubs in Northern Brazil and plays at the famous Estádio Francisco Vasques, also known as "Curuzu," a stadium steeped in tradition. The club's name and yellow and green colors reflect its Lusophone heritage. While they have not won a national top-tier title, Tuna Luso is a four-time champion of the Campeonato Paraense and has a fierce rivalry with Remo and Paysandu. Known as "O Canário" (The Canary), the club is celebrated for its rich history, passionate fanbase, and its role as a cultural institution in Belém, representing more than just football.
