This represents a remarkable achievement for a club from the autonomous province of South Tyrol. The team plays its home matches at the Stadio Druso, creating a unique Alpine football atmosphere. Founded in 1974, the club has climbed steadily through the leagues, reaching Serie B for the first time in 2022. Their rise has been built on a model of smart recruitment, tactical discipline, and a strong collective spirit. As the first club from South Tyrol to reach such heights, Südtirol carries the pride of an entire region. Their current campaign in Serie B is focused on establishing themselves as a stable second-tier side, defying expectations and showcasing the growing football culture in Italy's northernmost reaches.
