Team Info

Spartans Women are a football club competing in the Scottish women's football pyramid. Based in Edinburgh, the team is closely associated with the historic Spartans community club and plays its home games at the Spartans Academy. The women's side was established to provide competitive opportunities for female players in the capital, building on the club's strong community ethos. Their colors of maroon and white reflect this connection. While perhaps not among the traditional giants of the SWPL, Spartans Women have carved out a reputation as a well-organized and competitive side, often proving to be a tough opponent for any team. Their recent seasons have seen them consolidate their position in the upper tiers, developing local talent and aiming for cup runs. The team culture is one of community and development, with a loyal local fan base supporting their progress. They represent a crucial part of the grassroots and semi-professional structure in Scottish women's football.
