Team Info

Sociedad Deportiva Beasain is a historic football club based in the town of Beasain, in the Basque Country of Spain. The team competes in the Spanish Segunda División RFEF, the fourth tier of the national football pyramid, and plays its home matches at the tight, atmospheric Estadio Municipal de Loinaz. Founded in 1927, the club wears distinctive green and black vertical stripes, reflecting its deep-rooted local identity under the ownership of its socios (members). The name simply denotes the town it represents, and its early years were spent in regional leagues, building a strong community bond. The club's peak era has often been sustained presence in the old Tercera División and now the RFEF, occasionally flirting with promotion to the third tier. They are known for their fierce Basque derbies against neighboring clubs. In the modern era, SD Beasain operates as a well-run semi-professional outfit, focusing on developing local talent and maintaining a competitive edge in a very tough national division. Recent seasons have seen them consolidate their status as a solid RFEF side. The team culture is one of intense local pride, with a loyal fan base creating a vibrant atmosphere at Loinaz. SD Beasain remains the beating heart of football in the Goierri region, a classic example of Spain's deep lower-league fabric.
