Team Info

Östers IF is a historic Swedish football club from Växjö, competing in the Allsvenskan. The club plays its home matches at the Myresjöhus Arena. Founded in 1930, Östers IF enjoyed a golden era in the 1960s, 70s, and 80s, winning four Allsvenskan titles and multiple Swedish Cups, led by legends like Tommy Svensson. The club's name means "The East", reflecting its location in the city. After financial troubles led to a decline and spells in lower divisions, a key modern achievement was their return to Allsvenskan, rekindling memories of past glory. The current team focuses on a solid defensive foundation and exploiting set-pieces to compete in the top flight. The supporters, known for their unwavering loyalty through ups and downs, create a fantastic atmosphere. Östers IF is a club with a proud trophy-winning history, now working to re-establish itself as a force in Swedish football.
