Northeast United FC is a professional football club based in Guwahati, Assam, that competes in the Indian Super League (ISL). The team represents the entire northeastern region of India, playing their home matches at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati. Founded in 2014, the club's orange and purple colors reflect the vibrant sunrises and cultural richness of the region, with actor John Abraham being a prominent co-owner.
