Team Info

Kristiansund BK is a professional football club from the city of Kristiansund, currently playing in the Norwegian Eliteserien. The club's full name is Kristiansund Ballklubb, and they play their home games at the compact and atmospheric Kristiansund Stadion. Founded in 2003 through a merger, the club's colors are blue and white. KBK's history is a remarkable story of rapid ascent, climbing from the lower divisions to the top flight within a decade and a half. Their peak era arrived upon promotion to the Eliteserien in 2017, where they immediately established themselves as a tough, organized side under manager Christian Michelsen, achieving impressive mid-table finishes and even challenging for European spots. The modern era sees KBK as a well-respected top-division club, known for a cohesive team ethic rather than star individuals, though players like midfielder Amidou Diop have been key. The club has a strong, growing fanbase in the coastal city, with matchdays known for their passionate and vocal support. Kristiansund BK embodies the spirit of a modern, community-focused club that has successfully carved out its place among Norway's elite.
