Team Info
The Georgia Women's Under-17 national team represents the emerging talent in Georgian women's football. Competing in UEFA qualification tournaments, these young players face a steep learning curve against established European nations. The team's development is part of a broader strategy to grow the women's game in Georgia, a country with a deep sporting tradition primarily in men's football and rugby. Training camps and competitive matches are essential for these athletes to develop technically and tactically. The squad is often built around a core of players from domestic clubs, with the hope that standout performers may attract attention from professional teams abroad. Their journey is one of perseverance and passion, aiming to lay a foundation for a more prominent future for women's football in the Caucasus region.
