Team Info

Francs Borains is a Belgian football club from the town of Boussu, competing in the Belgian Second Division, the second tier of professional football in Belgium. The club's home ground is the Stade Robert Urbain, a compact arena that provides an intimate setting for matches. Founded in 1921, the team has traditionally worn blue and white. Historically, the club has spent much of its existence in the lower divisions, embodying the spirit of a community club. A significant chapter began with a merger and rebranding, leading to the current Francs Borains identity. Their recent promotion to the Challenger Pro League (Second Division) marks a modern peak, bringing professional football back to the region. The current era sees the team fighting to establish itself in the second tier, relying on a cohesive unit and shrewd signings to avoid relegation. The supporters, known for their loyalty, create a vibrant atmosphere on match days, hoping to see their club build a sustainable future at this level.
